I hope Eric’s roommates Boone and Reece get their own books in this series since they seem to be great guys. I liked the flow of this book, the humor and the supporting characters were terrific. After the night he helped Julia, he can’t seem to get her off his mind. However, he was quite troubled in this book, he had a lot on his shoulders with wanting to please his father but constantly failing to live up to expectations.
He was best friends with Z who now plays in the NHL. I really liked Eric in Boyfriend Bargain so I was happy to see this book come out. Three years later and they both walk the other way when they see each other, until one night when she is in trouble and he helps her out. However, the day after he took her virginity he ghosted her. She thought he would be different with her than his previous reputation suggested. The Story: Julia and Eric went to prep school together and had a short fling. Though he has high expectations set on him by his parents, which includes being like his brother Kurt, becoming a lawyer and eventually working at his Dad’s hedge fund. He comes from a wealthy background and has always seemed to live a charmed life. The Hero: Eric - Captain of the Hawthorne University Hockey team, Eric is one of the campus elites. She now works as a stripper at the campus strip club and owes money she doesn’t have to a local loan shark. Though when her mom got sick everything changed. The heroine: Julia - Julia went to prep school on scholarship and started out at Hawthorne University like many of the other students, with scholarships and grants to pay her way.
